I’m a marketing strategist based in Chicago with a passion for helping brands grow with intention — through communications, branding, content, events, and strategy that actually fits.
I started Becks Creative because I believe that small businesses and local brands deserve the same quality of marketing that big agencies reserve for big budgets. Chicago is my city — and the entrepreneurs, makers, and businesses that make it vibrant deserve to be seen.
After 10+ years working in-house and alongside agencies — across industries from professional services to consumer brands — I saw the same gap over and over again: businesses with something genuinely worth saying, struggling to say it in a way that connected. I wanted to change that, starting close to home.
My approach is strategy-first — I don’t jump to tactics before we understand the bigger picture. Who are you talking to? What do they actually care about? What’s the one thing you want them to feel or do? Those questions come before any post gets scheduled or email gets sent.
I take on a limited number of clients at a time because I’d rather do fewer things exceptionally well than spread thin. When you work with Becks Creative, you get all of me — not a junior account manager.
Before any creative work, we align on goals, audience, and the message that matters. Tactics follow strategy — never the other way around.
I communicate clearly. You’ll always know what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and what to expect. No buzzwords, no vague updates.
Creativity and intuition matter — but so does measurement. I track what matters, report honestly, and adjust based on what’s actually working.
I’m not a vendor — I’m an extension of your team. I think about your brand even when we’re not on a call, and I’m invested in outcomes, not just outputs.
I’m a big believer that the best marketers are curious, well-rounded people. Here’s a little more of the person behind the strategy.
A regular at Subterranean and always chasing a good show in whatever city I’m in.
I love the first night in a new city — airports included. FTL will always have my heart.
My non-negotiable reset. Nothing clears the head like 90 minutes in 105°.
My office, my happy place, my go-to when I need to think clearly and caffeinate responsibly.
